Chip was the ultimate babysitter, ranch hand, and horse trainer -
all in 14 and a half hands of gelding dream horse.
This guy was as dependable as they get.
Running through a dense forest? No problem. Chip picked the best route for
rider and mount.
Climbing a steep mountainside? No problem. One climb with Chip...
and he would have you believing there was some mountain goat in his blood line.
Need to round up the cows? No problem. Give him the reins and stay out of his
way.
Want to go hunting or wildlife viewing? No problem. Show him which animal
and he would walk you up beside them and introduce you.
Need to teach a young child to ride or have an old cowboy or cowgirl who needed a
little extra care?
No problem. Chip was a world class trainer. After a few lessons with him,
even the most novice of riders rode like they were professional cowboys and
cowgirls.
Whatever your skill level, he met and exceeded any expectations you might have
had.
Everything worked with RB Chip. No explanation. It just did.
We lost Chip on January 6, 2009.
He left a legacy of cowboys and cowgirls who learned to love horsemanship on his
back.
We are grateful for each memory, each ride, each lesson.
Thanks, Chip.
You made a difference in our lives.
You will forever be remembered, loved and honored on the Mount N Ranch.
