Mount N Gracie "And He said unto me, 'My
grace is sufficient for thee:
for My strength is made perfect in weakness.'
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever needed to
condense a book into just a few sentences?
That is how I am feeling right now.
We could just tell you that Gracie is a sweet, beautiful, fast, spirited
mare
who we are honored to have as part of Mount N Horses.
We could share her impressive Arabian-Quarter horse breeding,
how easy she is to handle, how excellently she moves, etc.
But...Gracie has a powerful story that needs to be told...and heard:
When vandalism on our ranch resulted in an out of season breeding, we were
devastated.
The foal we had been so excited about Pretty Boy siring would be born in the
dead of winter,
on a mountain ranch with major access, facility, and handling
complications.
We were concerned about the health of the mare and her foal.
We prayed, planned and prepared - what else could we do?
Even with our weak, undesirable conditions, everything with the birth worked
out perfectly.
Gracie was born with a full mane, tail and thick winter coat.
Mom and foal were strong, healthy and frisky.
Prayers were answered.
We saw and experienced firsthand that God's Grace is sufficient.
Thus, the history of the name....Mount N Gracie.
Remember, this is the condensed version...
you will have to pick up the book version another time.
We hope you enjoy meeting Mount N Gracie,
and that her story will somehow inspire you
to allow the power of Christ to rest upon you.
