• Create your New Years
Resolutions.
• Have every family member
make a list of fun things they
would like to do
and by
majority vote work your way
down the list.
• Write down some things you
as a family would like to
accomplish by the end
of the
coming year.
• Play games, read a favorite
story, watch a movie, go
outside, snowball
fights, team
sports, sledding, biking,
hiking, walking, go see the
fireworks, etc.

old. In with the new.
• Eating black-eyed peas
• Making resolutions of
change or accomplishments
for the new year
• Staying up to watch the
clocks turn over and
celebrate the first minutes
of the New Year

Fireworks shows
• Inviting friends and family
over to bring in the new
year together
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13
"It is of the Lord's mercies
that we are not consumed, because His compassions
fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23

Welcome to 2021. Much speculation, prophecy, drama and anticipation is
connected
with this new year. Will this year bring the "end of the world"?
Will this year mark the
"end of an era"? Will this year bring a global
economic collapse, a world war, or major
catastrophic natural disasters? No matter what this year holds, we, as
Christians,
"...know that all
things work together for good to them who love God, to them who
are the called according to His purpose." "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected
end." "He hath
shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth
the Lord require of thee, but to do justly
and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? For
"...behold, I come quickly; and
my reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are
they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and
may enter in through the
gates into the city." Romans 8:28, Jeremiah
29:11, Micah 6:8, Revelation 22:12-14
May
this new year bring a new season of reflection, vision and purpose for you.
May you
live each day in light of eternity. May you use each moment to make
a difference for eternity. Remember the words of the One who has made you in
your mother's womb, known you
before the foundation of the earth and
demonstrated the greatest love this world has ever
known, "Fear thou not; for I
am with Thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right of my
righteousness." Isaiah 41:10
God bless you and Happy New Year!
