Anger

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. He that is
soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
Proverbs 14:16-17

In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction
of the prince.
Proverbs 14:28

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs 15:1

A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Proverbs 15:18

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that
taketh a city.
Proverbs 16:32

The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
                                                                                                                                                        Proverbs 19:11

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
                                                                                                                                                        Proverbs 19:19

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. Proverbs 21:2

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.
Proverbs 21:23-24

A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way. Proverbs 21:29

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou
learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Proverbs 22:24-25

Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous;
but who is able to stand before envy? Open rebuke
is better than secret love.
Proverbs 27:4-5

He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and that
without remedy.
Proverbs 29:1

An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
Proverbs 29:22

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place
to the devil.
Ephesians 4:26-27
