Cowboy Church
During good weather months, we hold Cowboy Church at
The Barn. We gather cowboys and cowgirls from close and afar for a Bible-based, conservative,
old-fashioned, camp meeting. Prayer, worship, teaching and
family-friendly
fellowship fill this day of revival. Our cowboys preach the Love
of God and teach practical ways you can live for God. We teach if you believe it, you
should live it, and we try to teach you how. Local Churches are
invited to attend and to invite guests. We want local guests
to
meet local church families so they can find and connect with
good church
families in the surrounding communities. Cowboy Church is a
whole day affair.
We serve breakfast for the early birds, a buffet style potluck
after the morning
service, and leftovers plus after the evening service. The
potluck rule is the
universal one. Bring enough for your family and we will put all
the food together
so everyone gets plenty. Ranch rules are wash your hands, no
double dipping or
plate tapping, and we pray before we eat. If you are travelling
or are unable to prepare a
meal for any reason, come anyway. Our cooks were raised in the
South so there is
always plenty for extra guests. Dress is casual, or cowboy as we
call it. We want people
to come as they are and leave as God wants them to be. Ranch
style games and
entertainment are available all afternoon for cowboys and
cowgirls of all ages. Some of
the games our guests have enjoyed in the past are burlap sack
races, team sports,
3-legged races, roping, petting zoo, horseshoes, washer
pitching, crochet, hay rides,
horse/pony rides, and more. One of our family's favorite Cowboy
Church activities is the
music. Bring your instruments, your voices, your love of music,
your listening ears, and
join us for an endless Christian music festival. The hills will
be alive with hymns, Southern
Gospel, traditional, contemporary, camp meeting, and original
music from and for our guests. If you love music, you will love
Cowboy Church music. If you love fellowship, you will love
Cowboy Church. Come prepared to relax, play, make new friends,
learn, and be challenged to grow in your walk with God.
Join us for a Cowboy Church service and experience
our Peace of Heaven in Idaho.

The Lake Of Shining Waters
One of our favorite places on the ranch is our Lake
of Shining Waters. This small, cool mountain spring
holds a lot of history for our family and provides
4-season recreational enjoyment for family and
friends of all
ages and interests.
Be inspired to mount up with wings like eagles
when a soaring eagle dips down to get a bird's
eye view of the lake's fishing potential. Grab
a fishing pole and try your own luck. The fire
pit is ready to prepare your catch of the day.
In the winter, put on your helmet and take a deep breath at the
top of Mount Nickerest. Then hold on to your
sled or snowboard as you twist, curve, turn,
and...almost do a complete flip on this
quarter-mile sled hill down to the shore of the
frozen lake. Beginner, intermediate,
and expert runs available.
Whatever your
interests, and whatever the season, the Lake of
Shining Waters beckons you to come, be still and
reflect on the beauty of God's Creation.
Swimming
The ranch pool is currently out of operation,
but the spring-fed lake provides plenty of water
sport opportunities.

Where to find the Peace of Heaven
The Peace of Heaven Idaho Ranch is located near Heaven's Gate and Hell's
Canyon. Heaven's Gate is a scenic lookout that overlooks portions of Washington,
Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Hiking trails lead to over 90 alpine lakes along the
rocky alpine peaks of the Seven Devils Mountains. Heaven’s Gate overlooks two of
the deepest canyons in the United States, the Salmon River Canyon and Hell’s
Canyon. Hell’s Canyon is ten miles long and the deepest river gorge in North
America at 7,993 feet, deeper even than the Grand Canyon. It runs along the borders of eastern Washington and
western Idaho and is world famous for its recreational activities.
The nearest
town to the Peace of Heaven Idaho Ranch is Orofino, Idaho. Orofino means fine gold.
Fine gold is gold ore that has been crushed, heated, tried, and purified.
Refining and purifying the ore creates the fine gold. God
makes us into gold in much the same way. Sometimes the trials we face seem long
and we do not understand. But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come
forth as gold. Job 23:10 Rest in His
Promises. God has a
Plan and knows the end of each path that we take. When we are tried and
purified, we shall come forth as gold, fine gold.

The Wonder Of It All
Public lands account for around 60% of Idaho land so the opportunities to hike,
explore and enjoy nature around the ranch are endless.
Dworshak State Park, Hell's Gate State
Park, Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, Nez Perce National Historic Park,
and a host of historic sites and parks offer the outdoor enthusiast never ending
adventures.
During the winter, Bald Mountain Ski Area; Cottonwood Butte Ski
Area; Fish Creek Meadows Nordic Park 'n Ski & Miner Area Snowmobile Trail; Snowhaven Ski Area; and Winchester Lake State Park are available for winter
sport activities.
Forest and wilderness areas such as the Clearwater National
Forest, Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, Gospel Hump Wilderness
Area, Nez Perce National Forest, Payette National Forest, Selway-Bitterroot
Wilderness, and St. Joe National Forest abound.
If you are looking for Idaho water adventures, the Clearwater, Lochsa, Selway, and Snake

Growing Up In The Lord
Mount N touches lives at the Idaho Ranch through prayer, discipleship,
mentoring, and teaching practical life skills. The ranch is a place leaders can grow
in their walks with God, with their families, and with their ministry teams. It
is a safe place to be still, know He is God, and grow up in Him.
We believe in the power of prayer. Join us at the prayer house or on a prayer
call as we pray for God to raise up ministry leaders who will stand. One focus of
our ministry is to pastor ministry leaders and their families. We love and give to those who love and give to others
so they can keep on loving and giving. We have learned you cannot out
give God and you cannot experience true growth without Him. We know growing up is not always an easy thing to
do. Having a family who loves and cares for you to come alongside and help you
grow makes it a little easier. Come grow with us. Love is patient and kind, not
jealous, boastful, or proud. Love exhibits self-control and unselfishness. Love thinks
no evil. Love rejoices not in iniquity but in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails...From 1 Corinthians 13.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that
loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 John 4:7, 8

A
merry heart doeth good like a medicine...
Over the years our guests have enjoyed scheduled programs like holiday crafts, cowboy
clinics, gardening, home canning, greenhouse parenting, hunting, building
projects, outreach events, family movie nights, summer movie days, family reunions,
staff retreats, couple retreats, youth camps, and treasure hunts. Activities are
centered around personal enrichment and team building. Swimming, basketball, baseball,
soccer, tag football, crochet, laser tag, disc golf, treasure hunts, game tables
(foosball, hockey, ping pong, pool), board
games, puzzles, card games, biking, and adventure experience
training are available to help you improve your
skills, build interpersonal relationships, and enjoy your
stay. We also have a Christian library at the ranch with
hours of reading enjoyment and inspirational
movies available. If you enjoy walking, hiking, riding, or
enjoying fresh mountain air, the trails are endless and the views are
spectacular around the ranch. Food, fun,
fellowship, and more...
The Carpenter Shop
Many heirloom quality treasures have been designed and created in The Mount N
Carpenter
Shops. We share the Idaho Ranch shop with
visiting shepherds in need of a place to build with their hands. Work centers
are set up with the materials you need to design and build your own Mount N
Treasures. If you can imagine it, you can probably find what you need to build
it in the Carpenter Shop. Sometimes a visit to
the Carpenter Shop is exactly what a weary soul
needs.
The Nickerson Family Singers
These Idaho hills are alive with music. Listen closely when the
Nickersons are on the ranch and you might
hear the Nickerson Family Singers praising the Lord for His
Faithfulness and singing about the beauty of His Creation. Join
the Nickersons each evening for family worship and enjoy some
good old-fashioned preaching, teaching and words of
encouragement.

Idaho
Garden
The Idaho Ranch provides fresh
vegetables, herbs, rose hips,
flowers, brambles, berries, apples,
pears, and a variety of stone fruits
for Mount N Staff, friends,
neighbors, livestock, and guests
from around the world. The fields
provide hay, grazing and grains for
our goats, sheep, llamas, cows,
horses, and assortment of poultry
and other ranch livestock. The land
is sub irrigated so the ground helps
water our green things. The ranch sits in a
banana belt so we enjoy a good
growing season with plenty of sunshine
and water. The mountain ridges
provide natural protection from
harsh winds and storm events and
create a pretty mild environment for
the ranch. We have four distinct,
yet mild and very manageable seasons
at the ranch. Running an organic
farm and working ranch is quite an
undertaking, but we enjoy the time
spent with each other and nature and
are thrilled with the many ways the
ranch blesses us and those we care
for. We are very thankful for our little
garden of blessings in Idaho. Visit our
Farming page to learn more about
Mount N Farms and our agricultural
operations.
Get Involved
I like what is happening at
the Peace of Heaven Idaho
Ranch. How can I get
involved? Many hands make
light work. The ranch is
always in need of helping
hands for gardening,
landscaping, fencing,
building projects,
harvesting, and general
ranch maintenance and
improvements. Coordinators
and assistants are also
needed for special events.
Ask what God is doing at
Peace of Heaven and find out
how you can help join in the
work He is doing here.
Contact the Idaho Ranch to
get involved.

Idaho Flower Gardens
The ranch flower gardens produce a seasonal variety of flowers for
potting, cutting, preserving, using in craft projects creating
perfumes, and making teas and supplements. The
gardens are an ever expanding, growing, blooming project on the
ranch. We enjoy planting, weeding, pruning, watering, and
harvesting the
flowering fruits of our labors. The sweet aromas of fresh cut
flowers quickly validate the time, care, work, and resources
spent planning and creating the gardens. Each plant variety has
been carefully selected and geographically planted to contribute
a natural significance and beauty uniquely its own. One more hue
of God's magnificent color wheel is sprinkled on the ranch with
each new bud and flower. The Idaho Flower Gardens...one of the
natural wonders of Idaho.
Idaho Wildflowers
Consider the lilies how they grow: they
toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you,
that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. If then God so clothe the
grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow
is cast into the oven; how much more will he
clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 12:26, 27
Idaho Insects
They creep, crawl, fly, buzz, sting, eat,
pollinate, add color, attract birds and
butterflies, provide natural pest control, make
interesting noises, annoy some, and entertain
others. As organic farmers and nature
enthusiasts, we welcome good insects and rage
war on the bad ones.
Idaho
Ranch
There is so much to see, do, and experience on
the ranch. I will lift up mine eyes unto the
hills, from whence cometh my help. My help
cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and
earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
He that keepeth thee will not slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade
upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite
thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord
shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall
preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy
coming in from this time forth, and even for
evermore. Psalms 121

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
FROM THE NICKERSON FAMILY
Before you click to the next slide to
find out how you can visit or get involved with
the Idaho Ranch, we have an
urgent prayer request:
Friends and family, pray for the Idaho Ranch. If
you like what God is doing and has done for you
and others at the Idaho Ranch, please intercede
for us. The ranch is under attack. We are
fighting to save it, but are in danger of losing
the ranch. Pray God steps in and works a mighty
miracle so we can continue to offer this place
of respite to you and caregivers from around the
world. We are standing on His Word and in
prayer. The battle belongs to the Lord.
Orofino is a small, quaint town that is not a
stranger to spiritual warfare or being tried and
tested. Spiritual leaders and warriors from both
ends of eternity have dwelt and influenced this
region, for good and for evil. There are many
good people in Orofino and the surrounding
areas, but many have paid dearly to be and
remain here. We are among those. We have
experienced unprecedented attacks and
persecution in Orofino, Idaho. What we have
found is a perpetual battle rages between the
good and the evil here. Unfortunately, the good
is often silenced, and evil is allowed
uninhibited control. Orofino is such a beautiful
area and an incredible geographic location to
help people in their search to find answers and
directions on how to get from Hell’s Canyon to
Heaven’s Gate, the eternal ones. We have
remained and fought to be here to help seekers
and leaders find the answers we have found in
God’s Word, the Bible.

The first time we drove into Idaho, we fell in love with its natural beauty
and realized it is one of America's best kept secrets.
We love the great outdoors and much of Idaho is untouched, untamed, and
undeveloped. Public lands, parks, and wilderness areas abound in this melting pot
of the good, the bad, the searching and the settled. Beautiful country.
Forested mountains. Deep, rugged canyons with amazing rock cliffs and
formations. Breathtaking views. Fertile farmland enveloped by expansive
prairies.
Spring-fed lakes, cool mountain springs, and some of the best fishing and
recreational rivers in the country. Unsurpassed clear night skies with once-in-a-lifetime star
and phenomena gazing.
A true 4-season scenic wonderland and nature paradise for sportsmen, nature lovers, and
adventure experience enthusiasts. Our opinion was no matter what anyone was looking for,
they could find
it in Idaho, and, perhaps, a little bit more. So we purchased a piece of
property in North Central Idaho to be our family ministry ranch.
To this end, our family shares the ranch with Christian ministry leaders and their families to help them keep on keeping
on. Pastors, missionaries, counselors, writers, entertainers,
ministry staffs and their families from around the world have been
touched by Peace of Heaven. We have invited them to come, find rest
and renewal, then return to their mission fields with renewed
passion and fresh fervor to share God's Message and Love.
We developed the ranch into a self-sufficient organic farm, working ranch,
and place for refuge and refreshment. The
beauty and peacefulness of the property felt like just the right place to
find and maintain perspective and resolve. There was a lot of work to do,
but we worked together as a family to build our little Peace of Heaven. We had fun and relished the closeness we felt to the Creator and His
Creation. Even with the battles that have raged around the ranch, the ranch
has been a place we have retreated to get alone with God, pray, and refill.
We, like other ministry families, get weary sometimes from loving and giving
to others. Having a place away from it all to find rest, renewal and
refreshment helps the burdened servant or battle-worn warrior stay in the
battle.

Life happens, even to ministry leaders.
We invite Christian leaders to the ranch to edify, encourage, and
exhort them to finish the course set before them.
What we do at the ranch is love God, love others, and teach ministry
leaders, their families, and their ministry teams to do the same. As
a family and ministry team, we come alongside givers in relevant, practical,
fun ways. We point them to the Lord and His
Word, and encourage them to rise up and do what God has called
them to do.

Our Message To Ministry Leaders
When life happens, remember no matter what we are
going through, God is still on His Throne. Rest in
knowing He is in control and that He will never leave you or forsake
you. Trust His Love and place your faith, trust, and eternal hope in
Him and Who He is. You can find wisdom, guidance and direction to
endure and finish the course set before you by reading and following His Word.
Read it. Believe it. Do it. Walk and fight the good fight of faith
through prayer and obedience. Never deny in darkness what you
believed in the light. Remember, God is faithful and He will
see you through.

Many have been touched by Peace of Heaven, Mount N's
Idaho Ranch...
"We are still in awe and praising the Lord for your
wonderful friendship and hospitality towards us. We were so
abundantly blessed by your whole family. What an awesome
testimony to our children of true hospitality. Your children
are such servants of all and the joy of the Lord radiates
from them...You have a tremendous ministry there. I tell
everyone about you and the work you are doing. I know you
work hard because we have ran camps before and it can be
hard work, but wonderful blessings. Heb. 6:10 'For God is
not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love,
which ye have shewed toward His name, in that ye have
ministered to the saints, and do minister.' 1 Cor. 15:58
'Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye
know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.' We thank
you again...You are in our prayers in Jesus.
Idaho's motto is, May it endure forever. Our motto and prayer for the ranch is
May we endure to protect and preserve it so others may come and find
strength to endure.
Are you weary or heavy laden?
Let us pray for you and invite you to come, rest, be still, and know He is God.
Our prayer is a visit to the ranch will empower you to go in peace, walk in power,
grow in truth, serve in love, and experience God. Through our God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall
tread down our enemies. Psalms 60:11, 12

The Idaho Ranch.
If the great
outdoors calms your soul and draws you closer to the God
of creation...If a majestic sunset steals your breath
away and causes you to thank God for every breath of
life...If rippling creeks and clear, still lakes fill
your spirit and flood you with peace .... Then the Idaho
Ranch can be a special place for you to be still and
know He is God. With acres and acres of land to find
quiet spots to reflect or nooks to explore, it is a good place to find and be at rest.
If you are in the ministry and in need of a time
of rest, refreshment and renewal, feel free to
contact us about being
our guest at the ranch. Maybe a visit to Idaho can help you see what
God has planned for you and wants to do through you.

..."MORE than we could have ever imagined or even prayed
for!!! What a precious time having all our children, spouses
and grands together in worship, prayer, teaching,
fellowship, fun and food, food, food!"
"Thanks for your wonderful hospitality...We really enjoyed
your 'Peace of Heaven'."
