Proverbs 30:5a
His Word is Pure
"Every Word
of God is pure:"
Proverbs 30:5a
Pure is defined as not mixed with any other substance; free from
contamination: clean and free from impurities. This means the
Word of God is clean and free from all impurities. This means
the Word
of God is Truth. Knowing this we can accept and embrace the truths of
His Word to shape our lives. II Tim 3:16-17 states His Word is
profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction,
and instruction in
righteousness that we may be perfect and fit for good works.
However, we
must know it, study it and meditate upon it order for it to
be profitable to us. As we make His Word a part of our lives, our
lives become more pure. We need to accept the purity of His Word. We
need to assimilate it into our beings. As we do, we will become more pure.
