Philippians 4:4            Rejoice
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4

Rejoice! But I am a prisoner doomed to the coliseum. Rejoice! But I am being led to the
gallows. Rejoice! But my friends are making fun of me. Rejoice! But I just do not feel like it. Rejoice! But why? Because the Father up in Heaven is with you every where you go. Though
you might not always understand why you have to go through what you have to go through, remember you are but a piece to the wonderful puzzle God has planned. He is shaping you
and carving you into exactly what He wants you to be.  NEN

Colossians 1:4-5            For The Hope

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the
truth of the gospel;
Colossians 1:4-5

As we walk each day we often have a chance to minister to people, the mail man, the grocery teller, the paper boy. Sometimes the list seems so long that it becomes hard to keep up. There are so many people to serve and so little time in which to do it. People will sometimes ask themselves, "Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? Why should I keep serving?" I believe the answer is “For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven.”  NEN
