Mark 5:19 Do They Know?
"Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him,
Go home to thy friends,
and tell them
how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee."

Do your friends know what God has done
in your life? Have you ever told an unbelieving friend
why you became a Christian? Has He made a difference in your life? God can use
everything
that has happened in our lives for His Glory. We shouldn’t share all the dirty
details of our sin, because this glorifies us, not God. We should share how God
has changed us, and how He helped us overcome our sin.

Be Not Afraid
"As soon as
Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue,
Be not afraid, only believe."Mark 5:36
When we are in a difficult situation, it can be so
hard to "not be afraid and only believe." There are times when we feel God has
called us to do something, yet everyone and everything around us is saying we cannot do it.
When this happens, instead of giving up, we should remember we do not have
to be afraid. God has given us the strength to complete the task if we will only
believe.

To Follow Me
“And when He had called the
people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come
after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
Mark 8:34
Christ says. “If you will follow Me, deny
yourself and take up your cross.” But what does
that actually mean? In order to serve Christ effectively we must die to our
wants and selfish desires, There is no room for Him if life is all about us.
This requires a total life surrender to
the One who gave His life for us. But the decision is yours. Follow Christ? Deny
yourself
and carry your cross.CN2
